Macaron 26 Lime with Strawberry Buttercream. This macaron was rather summerish but it sounded so good. I put about 2 teaspoons of lime zest in the batter and I was amazed how much lime taste came through. I also had some strawberry jam that I made to I mixed it in the buttercream. This was a tasty combination and I love the pink and green color.

Macaron 25 Blackberry with Meyer Lemon and Blackberry Buttercream

Macaron 25 Blackberry with Meyer Lemon and Blackberry Buttecream. I love the color of these so much. It's a little hard to tell but it's a really nice light blue, almost gray. I left the seeds in the macarons too. I love when raspberries and blackberries are not strained. I also love the idea of a tart blackberry balanced with a sweet meyer lemon. Plus the color contrast of a meyer with a blackberry is beautiful.

Macaron 24 Chocolate with White Chocolate and Toasted Coconut

Macaron 24 Chocolate with white chocolate and toasted coconut buttercream. Sometimes in the night I will wake up and think about something I want to make or a new recipe to try out. Last night I woke up thinking about turquoise macarons. Usually when I make chocolate macarons I use cocoa powder, but today I used chocolate extract and dyed them this beautiful turquoise color. The coconut was a perfect fit, crunchy and looks so pretty with it.

Macaron 22 Chai with Caramel Cream and Mascarpone. I tried a new recipe today and the outcome was incredible. Renewed love and interest in them. I love to drink chai but eating chai is almost as good. They were perfect. I made a sweetened condensed milk caramel. This is condensed milk taken to entire new level. Sublime and then for a nice added touch, mascarpone. Nice and milk. These were perfect.

Macaron 22 Vanilla with Grapefruit buttercream. Okay I know, I know, I said that last week would be the last vanilla. Well I lied, I just had to pair the vanilla with the grapefruit. My favorite fruit( well, one of them,) Now the pink on pink did not work, I grabbed the wrong dye color. But they were quite tasty.
