Macaron 21 Vanilla bean with banana caramel buttercream. I realize after making this macaron this one makes three weeks of vanilla. Last week, promise. Next week something new. I was in a Caribbean mood. Probably because I want a Caribbean vacation. I am cooking vicariously through my vacation dreams. I just adore the color of this one too. A perfect shade of yellow, which has slowly made its way in my heart as my favorite color. How did this happen?

Macaron 20 Vanilla macaron with Orange Blossom Honey Buttercream. So today the middle of January felt like spring and in a moment of weakness I felt complelled to make a spring like macaron. I love this honey from Savannah Bee it smells strongly of orange blossom but the taste in mild. Delicious and perfect for a January spring day.

Macaron 19 Vanilla with Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream. The new vanilla and chocolate classic. If you thought chocolate buttercream was good, wait until you have had it with cream cheese. Cream cheese by the ways makes everything better, that and bacon of course!

Macaron 18 Red Velvet Macaron with Cream Cheese Buttercream. Winter tastes like Red Velvet. It's dense and rich and the cream cheese brings it together. The red velvet macaron is wonderful just as good the cake. I think its the perfect substitute.
