October 19 Week 7Macaron 7: Amaretto with Peach Amaretto Buttercream. So I tried a new recipe this week and I am not going to lie, it did not turn out as well as I would have like. I felt like I was a complete failure, then I realized it is only week 7 and I still have 45 weeks left to perfect. What a relief. Now, the inside of the macarons turned out great. Crunchy and chewy,but I never got any feet. I dusted them with a little cinnamon and over all the taste was good, appearance not so great. We will try again next week!
